LABMBA Leaders of Tomorrow High School Case Team Wins 19th Annual National LOT Business Case Competition!!!

The National Black MBA Association – Los Angeles Chapter would like to congratulate our 2021 LOT Case Team on their 1st Place win at the 19th Annual National LOT Business Case Competition!

This year the National Black MBA Association’s Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) program celebrated its 30th year of nurturing some of the most brilliant young minds. And what better way to showcase that brilliancy than with hosting a Juneteenth LOT Business Case Competition!

The scholarship case competition is designed to help participants develop real-world critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with fostering competencies in core business areas such as finance, marketing, product development, and sales, by addressing a business case study. Teams of participants work together to present their case recommendations to a panel of esteemed judges and compete for up to $30K scholarship funds.

Students represented NBMBAA local chapters from across the nation, including Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Greater Maryland, Houston, Kentucky, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Raleigh/Durham.

Participating students from the Los Angeles Chapter’s Leaders of Tomorrow® program included: Melvin Boothe (Chino Hills High), Jeremiah Davis (St. John Bosco), K’Cia Reed (Magnolia Christian High), and Loren Sullivan (Chino Hills High).

The National Black MBA Association – Los Angeles Chapter is extremely proud of our LOT Case Team for their dedication, commitment, passion, and hard work participating in this year’s Business Case Competition.

We would also like to give a special thank you to the Parents, LOT Director, Case Competition Coach, and Volunteers for their continuous support and leadership!

Congratulations on a job well done!!
